What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 340,000 ugx to buy a cow and I spent 355,000 on hiring a garden that I am cultivating. I also spent 600,000 ugx to pay off my loan, then the balance of the transfer I spent it on feeding and buying household items.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well to provide people with financial support that has helped alot of us. However personally I do not see any wrong that givedirectly has done. Whatever givedirectly has done is to for the benefit of the needy.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I see my life is so much different in that I am now a respected man because I married a wife who is now supporting me. If I had not received the cash transfers I would be living a poor life with no hope at all. I would be a beggar instead with a lot of worries and with no future plans.

The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for buying animals that can enable me to get official spouse.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is morning hours, i chatt interesting stories with my brothers as we are doing garden work. This motivates me to work faster.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i shall be able to buy animals. This animals I wiil use as dowry for marrying official wife.
