What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 300,000 ugx on buying school requirements for the children and I bought a cow at 400,000 ugx. I also spent 150,000 ugx for cultivating my land. The remaining money I am spending on construction of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well becaus i has raised us from poverty, we are able to educate our children and treat them. On the otherhand there are no bad things I can recall about Givedirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am very happy and I pray every day that if givedirectly could add us more money because my life has changed. My children now study in good school, and this was only possible because of the cash transfer. My children would not have gone to school had I not received the cash transfer.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is inadequacy of food. I do not have enough land to farm in and as a result, i have always experienced famine. Also, most of my children are not studying because it would be the agricultural activity to support this as well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is noon time when i am sure my children have eaten and are healthy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will enable me to buy a piece of land, increase on capital to better my business, pay school fees for my children and buy household items.
