Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Although it is sad that I burried my husband after several treatment expenses, the biggest difference in my daily life is seeing that the funeral arrangement went smoothly as well. This is because in my old age, I don't know where I would get money to support me at that trying moment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I really felt happy and excited that I danced and danced until the whole community members around surrounded me and laughed.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy livestock such as a cow and a goat at Ugx 775000. I then bought a mattress at Ugx 100000. I used some money Ugx 500000 to treat my husband who had a diabetes illness. I used the balance for funeral arrangements for my husband who later passed on.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning cows. The cows will support me as an Income generating activity. This will come to my immediate rescue incase I fell sick or due to any family problem, it can be sold in order to earn a living. Currently, I rely on my children who give me support any time I need.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is between 11:00am to 4:00pm. I am happy a round that time becuse it is a bit warm for me and makes me feel better. I am an old person, coming out so early when it is cold or staying out upto late in the evening is risky for me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of a reliable source of income. My spiuse is sick and I depend on my children to support his treatment. I am very old and I can not support in any way. My children too have their own challenges which makes our situation worrying due to inability to raise any income.
