Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life will soon change after I have built my permanent house. Currently, I'm still sleeping in a leaking thatched house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt happy because I got money for building my permanent house since grass is scarce in my community.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer for buying building materials ( 4 trips of bricks and iron sheets) worth UGX 1,068,000, bought clothing/ household goods worth UGX 200,000, paid school fees worth UGX 42,000. There is a balance of UGX 250,000 which I'm planning to spend on paying labour.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will be able to buy a piece of land to settle with my family. I have no where to establish my homestead because I share a single a plot with all the brothers and parents. This has also limited me from carrying out farming hence I do not produce what is enough to cater for needs of the family. I will be able to build a better home and carry out farming well hence improving on living conditions of my family members.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My favourite part of the day is evening hours. Iam able to make some money from repairing customers radios for earning a living.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack land. Iam therefore facing a problem of food shortage and poor housing.
