How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to invest my last transfer in to saving club.I have decided to save my last transfer in because I want to get involve into making oil business in the future. I am a struggling young man. Getting food for my family has been a challenge for me.Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that when I start to make business , I will be able to generate more money to continuously take care of my children.

In my opinion, Givedirectly is really doing well for us in this community. Through Givedirectly direct cash support, many recipients are empowered financially to start building new house. Givedirectly distributed phones to almost everyone in this village. Givedirectly staffs are very much respectful. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. There is no system in Givedirectly that needs improvement.

I spent my most recent transfer to save it in club. I want to start sellling oil business in wholesale. I believe that through making business , I will be able to generate more money in the future to take care of my family. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to start making business in this village . I want to start buying palm oil tins in huge quantities and sell them at good prices in the future.Prior to being a recipient of Givedirectly, I have been undergoing hard struggle all along. Seeing myself beneficiary of such help from Givedirectly is unbelievable to me. I really appreciate Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that when I start to make business in this village, I will be able to generate more money in the future to take care of my family.

In my opinion GiveDirectly is actually doing well. Through Givedirectly cash transfer, Many recipients lives have been improved. Some were sleeping on old mattresses and they used parts of their transfers to purchase new mattresses. I am grateful to Givedirectly for the kind gestures. Givedirectly great jobs will forever be recorded in the history of this village. It is also through Givedirectly kind gesture that some recipients are now awared of the usage of mobile money.

I planned to used my most recent transfer to plaster my house and used the balance money to buy red plam oil by tins to sell in the future . During rainly season, palm oils get scarce and are sold at a higher prices. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was working in my garden when I received my alert on my phone. I was so happy and immediately inform my wife about the good news.She was happy to hear the good news.We celebrated together for the hold night,This is still like a dream to me because, First in history to received a cash that I have never handle in my life. My life have started improving just from the first transfer.Thanks to Givedirectly for coming in to my life.

With the money now, My life have started improving and I can now afford and attest to the changes in my life. Since I received this money, There is a lot of happiness in my household. My children are now in school and can now have a two time meals regularly.

I was able to buy three bundles of Zinc and two cartons of Zinc nails with part of my transfer and use the balance money for transportation. I depend on farming as my source of livelihood . I generated a little amount from farming which could not support my family fully especially payment of children school fees and medical bills. But now, with the gift from Givedirectly, I thank God that I can now get my family. Thanks to Givedirectly for making me a proud father in my community.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will build a house with zinc roof. All of my life, I have never had the opportunity to provide a good shelter for my household. The house we live in, is made of mud and covered with palmtatches. I believe this cash will become a great blessing for me to provide a better shelter for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, today is the most joyful day for me and my family. I have heard about a lot about GD, and the impact they are making in lives of others, by seeing them today in my town, is a dream come through. "I can't wait to be to get some of the Givedirectly money"
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge I'm faced with currently is money. I want to give my family a better life, but I'm unable to do,because life is difficult for me. I have to make farm and the produce, is sold for little of nothing just to ensure, my family have some to eat and sent my children to a public school .
