How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in the sense that I now own two houses which were made possible by the transfers that I received. Had it not for the money, I'm not sure if, as a family, we would have realized this dream. The money gave us life foundations by quickly providing us with basis of settlement since were newly beginning to live.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The organization actually does all the good things by providing financial assistance to the less to do families in our region
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the entire transfer in procurement of houshold items and also partly on household goods. The money came at a time when I needed it most. I was new by then and therefore the transfers gave us foundation for life by setting us down through provision of house goods.
