How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goal for this transfer . I have decided to continue with my house building process. I am planning to hire cashual workers to start roofing my new house. My old house is almost breaking down. Due to hardship, I have been unable to build new house. Thanks to Givedirectly for the financial supports. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my suffering will soon be over.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is really doing well for us in this village. Through Givedirectly cash supports in this village, many who couldnot afford money to build zinc houses due to hardship are now sleeping in decent zinc houses and getting rid off thacth houses. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gestures. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement..

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I do not have any new goal for now. It is still my previous goal I am working to achieve and that goal has been to remove the thatch for my roof and replace it with zinc. For many years my house has been in this deplorable condition but getting the finance to renovate it has been a challenge for me. When I started recieving this transfer I set a goal to renovate my house to make it look decent.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does well by leaving us with the decision how to spend our money. Now a day people give money with condition. You may not know what I want to do with money or the next person wants to do with money. I think the way GiveDirectly delivers cash to her recipients and leaving us to decide what to do with it is well on course. I have not seen anything that the organization has done wrong from the day of it entry to this community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Through the transfer I was able to buy zinc, nails, and other building materials for the renovation of my house. On the other hand, when I shall have reached my goal of renovating my house, any balance that from the transfer I am going to use it to start a business in order to keep my children in school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"My household doesn't own a house which have caused us to scatter in a single room in one of my neighbor house. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use portion of it to build a house for my family, and portion of it will also be used to send my children to school and the remaining invested in a small business that could serve as a source of income to cater to my household needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since last year December I heard that GiveDirectly was working in my county, I was so excited and been praying that one day GiveDirectly should come in my town. Now my prayers has been answered. That makes me very happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I'm currently facing is a lack of finance, my household is involved into farming, but the proceeds from the farm is not enough to cater to our household needs and at the same build a house and send our children to school".
