What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on starting up a business(kiosk). I did this to be able to earn some daily income.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would still be doing hard labour to be able to get what to eat however when I received transfers i started up a business from which I earn some income to sustain my needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by sensitizing us on addition to giving us transfers.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes, a clothes selling business! I used my first transfer to start up a business of selling clothes in my community because through this I will be able to support my family and become economically independent.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was resting in my seating room because I was weak then, I saw a message of mobile money. I grabbed my phone and I checked only to see that i have received money from GiveDirectly. From that point, the sickness was feeling disappeared and my body grew stronger.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on buying some animals to rear at home like a cow and also to pay for school fees for my children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is giving birth to my ten children without any complications.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life was when one of my children got so sick and was admitted.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is night time because this is when I rest after my day's work.
