How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better now in that, My health has improved now because I feed well 2-3 times a day on a balanced diet. I have gained a lot of weight and look good compared to the previous days when I used to have one meal a day because there was not enough money to buy food. In addition to that, I have managed to build a house that I never thought I could have built on my own with GD transfers. Very soon I will be sleeping in a cool house and I we will no-longer have to bother myself looking for grass as it was in the past.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD did so well transfer cash to me which enabled me construct a house. Secondly, These transfers have helped me manage to repair my bicycle which we use for fetching water since where I get water from is too far like 3 km. GD transfers also helped me acquire household items, Utensils and Bed. I used this money for feeding my household since we are in a dry season and food is too scarce and very expensive. In my view, GD did so well and I never saw any loopholes in their mode of operations.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on constructing a permanent house. I have been struggling looking for grass to maintain my grass thatched house year in year out. So when I got this opportunity from GD to receive the transfers, I decided to built a house and live a more comfortable life.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm able to provide for my family thus my standard of living has changed. Before did not have a source of income to buy basic needs.
