How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really changed with the coming of givedirectly into our village. I had no house but now I will soon own a house.

Everything that Givedirectly is doing is oky and I am grateful for being in the program

I was starving and could sometimes sleep on empty stomachs and that is now a thing of the past

I have used my money to buy 24 iron sheets for my new house as I lacked a proper house; I have also bought 4 bags of maize for food as I was starving; I have also bought some 4 bags of fertilizers for my garden

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will assist me and my children to afford a good house,food and house utensils. I shall also buy mattress for me and the kids as well as their school uniform and warm clothes as they struggle in winter.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The divorce with my husband hit me the hardest and hearing that he went to South Africa after divorce means he won't be helping anymore.
