How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed alot because the cash transfers enabled me to construct a three roomed iron roofed house. We are now living happily and comfortably. In the past, I had to struggle with the search for grass to thatch our two huts. It proved very expensive and cumbersome. I am very grateful because the cash transfers got that burden off my shoulders.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does well especially when the staff conduct home visits. There is no other organization that has done that in our community. Above all, GiveDirectly has only done good things for the people and nothing wrong at all.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent all my second transfer to construct a three roomed self contained house.
