How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed because I have managed to shift and build my own home away from my in-laws who had become a problem to me. They used to make decisions for me and quarrel on a slight mistake making my stay with them very difficult. In my new home currently, I make my own decissions.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that enabled me to build in my own plot of land that had been provided to my husband earlier on. However, in my opinion GiveDirectly has done nothing wrong as it has helped develop my area.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
Through my husband, I spent most of my second transfer to buy more building materials such as cement, metalic door and window, sand and paying labor that helped in building my house. I then used the balance and bought some household items such as utensils, clothing, and bedding.
