No, my previous plans still stands, that is, I want to fix my house with this second transfer. Maybe I will have other new plans for the third transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was a farmer when I was younger but now that I'm old, I cannot do farming job anymore. So I survive on the plantain and eddoes my grandson planted in the yard. I saw people celebrating in the community because they received money from Give Directly. It was at this moment I decided to check my phone and indeed my money was sent. I was happy and as old as I am, I started to dance. Since I was borned and I now have grand children, I have never received such an amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My house is in a very bad condition and I want to renovate it. I know that I will live in a comfortable house because of Give Directly and I want to say thanks for the assistance.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to use my money to buy my grandson's school uniform and pay his tuition. I will use the remaining money to repair my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"We are now very old. We have been trying to complete our house so that we can have our own 'resting place'. My husband have already molded the remaining blocks for the house. But due to financial constraints, we have not been able to continue. So if we receive this money, we will use it to complete our house."
What is the happiest part of your day?
That me and my husband have experienced good health in our old age makes me happy. But the help that GD is bringing to us gives me the greatest happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our main challenge is to get food for the family. My husband is old now. He cannot make regular rice farm. My only big son who was a help to my family died about two years ago. So considering our age and strength, getting food for the family has been a challenge. Another challenge is with our house. Up to now, only one room is completed. We've been trying to complete the entire house but due to lack of finance, the house remains an "open door policy".
