Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my village that morning when I here people saying that givedirectly has send them money, I quickly called my little brother to check in my account if I have received mine, luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in my account. I was very much happy, and even dance that whole day. I was happy because the house I am living in right now is finished old, it's has leakage all over the roof. That's why when I received my money I thought of my leaking roof to change it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I am able to complete my house in my village. My family life has changed for the better. Before then I was not having money to improve my house, but with givedirectly I was able to change my house. Many thanks to givedirectly for their support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw my money I bought 20 bags of cement to plaster my porch in my house, I bought enough food for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Most of kids are out of school presently, if I am opportune to benefit from this cash transfer, I will invest in my children education and also build a new house for the family as well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months, one of our kids brought us rice and meats and that brought us happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of challenges I am facing now is cash, we need money to pay others, in the town to help us with some of our farming activities. There is no food as well.
