Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was super excited and grateful after i saw the transfer message that moment i could imagine all the things i ever wished for coming into reality,i really appreciate the charity thing this organisation has done to us
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is i now sleep comfortably and happily on my matress,i have food I'm happy to announce that i now eat three times a day,it is a huge difference because I'm used to having one meal aday ,for now i don't even know where i can start to brag about my decent house i think you can see it for yourself, thank you so much Givedirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
So far i have used the transfer to improve my old house, initially it was glass thatched house but now i have an ironsheet roof, i have also managed to buy a matress, and a matt not forgetting a bag of maize,i didn't buy much things for the household because i was so determined to renovate my house, since most of the things are very expensive much of my transfer has gone into that.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I get to buy iron sheets, cement and Timber to renovate my house. I would also use the money to buy food for me and my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I got divorced I had no where to live. My son felt sorry for me and decided to build me a house and this made me very happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am very old so I do not have the capacity to farm own my own, so food is my biggest challenge right now.
