How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the transfers, my goal was to build an iron sheet roofed house. Now I am a happy person that to have accomplished my dream as I now have a house to live in with my two other members of my family thanks to the financial support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly do well by giving more money to the poor people for them to be able to buy or do something worthy. In the past some organisations came to the village to give us help cash transfers with as little as k5000 which is not enough to solve the problems at home.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money to buy 4 bags of fertilizer and 7 bags of maize as we had no food at home. I also bought basins, pots and mattress as that was lacking in the house and that made us all happy.
