What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on paying school fees for my child who is in college .The remaining transfer I started a poultry business for my husband unfortunately it collapsed due to the unpaid debts from the customers.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used 30000 KES from my second transfer to buy 3 cows to rear in my home since I had none before thus could not match my peers in the village. I then used 10000 KES to pay school fees for my child in secondary school so that he is not sent home for the same. I also used 9200 KES to buy cloth materials for my tailoring business in order to have a sustainable income for my family.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I currently run a busy tailoring business, from which I draw a daily income that is sustaining my family comfortably.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to clear the arrears that my son had in his former secondary school to eanble him ghet his certificate. I then paid for computer classes qfor him and the remaining amount was spent on buying a bag of maize for food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overwhelmed with joy when I received the money from GiveDirectly because I had never received such a sum of moneyu all at once in my life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to buy land where I can build my home because where I stay right now is not peaceful due to land wrangles.The rest I will use to pay school fees for my daughter in form two and class six.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I have educated my daughter upto form four,and the other one upto form two.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is raising school fees for my children who are learning in an academic school which is quite expensive.My other challenge is that where I stay has alot of land wrangles but I do not have money to buy another land for my family in a peaceful place.
