What did you spend your second transfer on?
When we received our first lumpsum transfer, my husband paid my dowry with 43725 KES and we spent the remaining 6000 KES on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am now living with my husband as a real wife, married to her as opposed to before my dowry was paid, when we were in come-we-stay relationship-which was frowned upon by my parents. We have a big difference in our daily life.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to use the transfer to cater for medical bill of our son who is required to go for an operation on his testicles. We plan to use part of the transfer to pay dowry. We also plan to construct a bigger house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we have managed to save from our little income and have been able to build a house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that we have faced in life is when one of our child was sick and we couldn't afford to take him to the hospital. Its unfortunate that he succumbed.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I wake up alive without any sad news.
