I have planned to in invest the transfer business and construction of my house beforereceiving the transfer.

GiveDirectly had done very well for me and my family. Based upon the intervention of GiveDirectly, I am a business manager and my children are in school. GiveDirectly had not done anything wrong
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my recent transfer on building house and the purchase of motorbike for commercial purpose. I have also paid my children tuitions with the recent transfer. Motorbike transportation is the most common and profitable business and means of transportation River Gee County, Liberia. Investing in such business has increased my earnings. The income from the business is contributing immensely to the livelihood of my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
On April 3,2017 I lost my mother who was responsible for payment of my school fees and I dropped out of school the following year . Since she passed away I have been renting room on a monthly basis. Now that I am a mother of three children I have planned to use 60% of any amount receive from GiveDirectly cash transfer to build a house for my family and use the balance 40% to add my market so as to return to school the fact I am still a school going age .
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy in the evening hours when I am residing with my children. Despite the miserable life I am living my children presence bring me joy and happiness the fact we can be blessed to get a daily food from my hard work or contract.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Being a mother of three children whom you didn't prepare for is a difficult situation. I became a full women thereby having a boyfriend to survive after the death of my loving mother in 2017 which resulted to my being a mother . A condition that led me to being a mother of three children. I paid a thousand Liberian dollars a month for where l am residing and I am forced to paid for a year every January 16 of every year . A situation that has hindered my living condition as it has resulted life being so difficult for my family and I. My challenge has been payment of rent for where l am residing including finding food for my children on a daily basis .
