What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan on buying iron sheets for my house as you can see it's grass thatched. I will do this because I have always wanted to live in an iron roofed house so that the rains don't bother me no more. I also plan on buying 4 goats, 1 male and 3 females. These will help sustain my livelihood in future even beyond the cash transfers as I will be selling them at a profit after they multiply.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am at peace and happy when I am interacting with my grandchildren here in the village. They bring me joy when I see them playing around and being happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have but one challenge in my life and that is ill health. By this, I mean I am frequently down with illness and when I visit the hospital I am always told it's Malaria. This hits me once or twice a month and I am unable to carry out my works and fend for myself due to this poor health. This illness coupled with my old age really affects my productivity as I am unable to provide for myself and my grandchild here.
