How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want my wives and I am getting old together to live to see our grandchildren. I'm working hard to educate all of my children to the fullest by engaging them in more farming activities. I intend to relocate all my children to the city to continue their education.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly give my family the opportunity to have our own houses. I'm recommending that Givedirectly give each of the couples their own phone and divide the transfer among them equally to avoid confusion, because most families in my town have issues with money.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I'm a polygamist who lives with my two beautiful wives in the same house along with our children. They both have 5 children each. As a polygamist, life has been difficult for me in teams of providing for the entire family. I had to produce farm for each of my wives equally and support them as well. The house we were in before couldn't commodity everyone. Givedirectly transfer enables me to build two decent houses for each of my beautiful wives. The remaining money I bought solar lights with other furniture to beautify our homes. I'm grateful to God almighty for the joy in my family.

Allowing us make our own decision on how to used our transfer with no influence from anyone.
GD should prioritize the man to be the primary recipient instead of the woman.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Life has been tough over the past years. My family and I survive through the means of hunting and farming. Most time when school is about to open I don't have money to enrol all of my children or purchase school materials for them.Upon receiving our transfer I used US $75 to enroll all of my children in school. And were also able to purchase one bundle of zine which cause about $133 usd.The remaining money were used to pay workers on my farm. I'm greatful that I'm able to provide and educate my children to the fullest so that when I'm old they will be there for the family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the Give Directly cash transfer I intend to send my children to school so that they can be able to obtain quality and higher education, and be a help to me when I grow old. Besides I'm illiterate because my parents didn't have money to send me to school and I don't want this to happen to my children. My children have dropped out of school for the past year. Though I make a farm, the farm we farm this year didn't yield any fruitful results due to climax change. I want my children to go back to school but there's no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy or happiness is hearing about such a great opportunity from Give Directly. I feel happy because it has been my prayer for me to be enrolled in the Giving directly program to improve my livelihood.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Since I was born I haven't been to school, because my parents didn't have money to send me to school. Since then life has not been easy. I have to do farm work to provide food for my children. I have been making farms since I was 10 years because that is the only means of income. Seeing my children drop out of school is very painful and embarrassing because I don't want them to be illiterate like me and be making farms throughout their life. Getting money to pay my children's school fees is my biggest challenge currently.
