How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is so differnt because i now have chicken that I keep . I laso have sheep that I bought ion my first transfer. I also so happy because I now have a business.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start a shop business in my village. I intend to start this one in order to reduce the problrms of selling in an open air market.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I now have a business. I start a business of selling grains that give me a daily income and also a way of life. I find things to do every day of my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have started a shop in a nearby scemter.I will also have bought acow by selling the sheep i have and buy a dairy cow.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is that it really improved my standard of living and nowadays I own a variety of livestock in our household ranging from goats to chicken.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect to see my farming improved to ensure food security in the coming future.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life currently has really changed and among the differences I have registered is the presence of goats, chicken, reserved stock of foodstuffs in our household and also clearance of school fees for my kids.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal to start a small business in the nearby market since I need something which will keep me going even after receiving my last transfer from GiveDirectly.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is when my maize plantation was infested by armyworms for about 5 years which greatly reduced my production. I have been relying entirely on maize to educate my children and other household needs and since i had low production, i opted for casual work in order to cater for my needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening having supper with my family and seeing them happy makes me feel great.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to pay school fees for my children and to buy food.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Building a permanent house has been my greatest achievement I am proudest of.
