How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different than it would have been because I am soon moving from a grass thatched house to an iron roofed house, I get better daily income of atleast Ugx.10,000 a day from my second hand cloth business, and I am now better in utilizing money. Before, my life was spent sleeping under a grass thatched house that would leak during rainy season, and on a good day, I only make Ugx.2,000 to support my livelihood making life a real misery.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving me money that has enabled me build an iron sheet roofed house; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy building materials such as cement, sand, nails, timber, paid labour and bought food.
