Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since I recently completed my college studies, My goal in the next four months is to invest in farming. I plan to start cultivating short-season crops such as potatoes and beans since they fetch a good price in the market. In my community, farming is the main economic activity and as I was growing up, I developed a passion for it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
After my O' levels, I had no hope of joining college and receiving transfers from GD made my dream come true. My parents really struggled to pay my high school fees and so I had to wait for my siblings to complete high school before I join college. When I received transfers from Give directly, I immediately enrolled in a college and pursued plumbing. I settled on a plumbing course because at the moment, there are many upcoming constructions and there is a need for plumbers. I am so happy now having fulfilled my goal through the help of Give Directly transfers
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expect my life to be better in the next six months since, by that time, I will have completed my college studies and hoping to secure a job. My two bulls which I bought using the recent transfers will also have grown and they will be ready to be sold. I expect them to fetch a good price in the market by then. The money I will get will enable me to purchase a good dairy cow for milk production for sale. Generally, I expect my life to be much better as compared to now
