Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt impressed upon receiving the grant because all my incomes in my life have never reached to the amount I'm receiving from Give Directly's program. I'm a subsistant farmer with 7 living children, the little harvests collected from the farm is sold to take care of my family and me as a way of living. This income is not enough to achieve our family's plans. But with the intervention of Give Directly's program in our lives, we will utilize the cash grant for children fees payment and to build a house for the family. My children have being sent out of school at the ending of first semester but because of the financial constraints, they all have being sitting down. Give Directly cash grant has re-enrolled them with the first transfer and the rest will be invested into house construction.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest change Give Directly cash grant payment has brought it my life is, my seven (7) have being re-enrolled back into school. And plan to improve my house is about to be accomplished as I collect my balance transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The first transfer was spent on my children school fee payment and the future transfers will be used for my family house construction.
