What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for the money support my 3 children in school. I believe sending the children to school, they could in return look after me. I'll will be investing in them to benefit tomorrow. I don't have my own money and with the help of this money from Give Directly, I can sent my children to school. I just started helping my father to plant Cocao and it has not started producing. The children will help take care of me tomorrow if am old when they're are educated. I also want to build my own house. I live in my parents house for the past years, and that isn't good for me. We are many, and one day the others could come and want to claim ownership. Having my own house will make me free, as well as my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past six months I felt happy when I planted my cacao. In July of this year I was able to plant realizing that I need something to depend on. This brought me happiness because I believe it will serve my children and I.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges is getting money to send my kids to school, so they they can help me in the future when I l am old. Next challenge is to have house where my children and myself can have of our own, and stop living with my parents. Lastly if there's still money, I will like to enlarging my cocoa farm.
