Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a plan of buying tree seedlings which I will plant and later re-sell at a profit. I have done it in the past and I succeeded to some extent so I believe that this time I will be able to do it on a large scale and succeed as well.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In most cases, I have been using the money to cultivate our farm by buying seedlings and fertilizers which have played a vital role in enabling us to get a bumper harvest every season. If it were not for the transfers, I think the harvest would have been very low, which means that we would be forced to buy food from the market, which again is very expensive.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
The biggest challenge I face today is being broke every now and again which forces me to take soft loans from people within the village, especially close family members. With the flow of cash from my tree selling project, I think I will become financially independent and free from debts like it has always been in the past.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Previously I used to get low farm produce because I couldn't afford the cost of quality seeds and fertilizers but I'm glad I was able to purchase them this time. I thank Give Directly for helping me through their monthly transfers. I was able to plan myself and get all the necessary inputs for this exercise. I am glad that I am up on my feet again.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
For the next four months, I have plans of starting a tree seedling business. I already have some of the seeds which I'm planning to plant in the nursery. I think this is a good idea because no one is doing this business in this region. It is a new idea and I am hoping people will embrace it and support me. After all, the benefits of planting trees will be felt by everyone in this area.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I facilitated most of the farming activities for this season with the transfers from Give Directly. I'm proud I managed to get a bumper harvest which will sustain my family for a longer period of time. I thank Give Directly for enabling me to purchase all the required quality seeds, tools, and fertilizers. This has assured me of food security for this whole year.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months of my life, I expect to have raised enough money to plant a good number of tree seedling. Not only will they be beneficial to the environment, but I'll also be earning income from them.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been saving a lot of money recently in my bank account generated from the sale of the chicken and seedlings which gives me the confidence to face the future without being worried about financial stability. The chicks are almost ready right now so the only thing I need to do is just to get a market where I will sell them and make a profit, just as easy as that.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been planting some seeds in my nursery which I plan to sell out in the near future when it eventually starts to rain and also sell out a few of them which will generate some little income for me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been buying some livestock that I now rear within the locality. One advantage of raising livestock is that I can be able to sell them out anytime in the future when I run out of finances. Apart from that, I would also say that I have managed to buy quite a number of chicken which has been generating some good income for over the last year, so what I do is that I save some of the profits generated from the business in my bank account for future use and just in case an emergency arises.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
One thing I am sure about is the sale of the tree seedlings which will take a very short period of time to start growing. Once they are bought then definitely I will be sure of generating some income which will help me a great deal in taking care of my financial needs and the daily financial needs of the family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different in that I have managed to start rearing poultry which is an extra source of income. I feel more independent as I no longer seek help from my siblings with better jobs. Through the sale of some of my chicken, I am able to meet my basic needs with much ease.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to save money from the poultry business which I have just started and buy a dairy cow since with the dairy cow, I believe I will earn an extra income through the sale of milk to cater for my needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have managed to start rearing poultry as a source of income. Previously, I used to depend on my siblings who had better jobs and at times I felt I was a bother but ever since I started this business, I have been able to sell some chicken and independently take care of my needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, with the expansion of my poultry farming, I will be able to generate double the profits I have been getting from the activity which will help me achieve my dream of owning a dairy cow.
