How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goal, my previous goal which is my building project is still in progress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is my hero, because of them I will be lying my head down in a decent house roof with Zinc. That alone is a dream come true for me, and I'm grateful for that. The raining season will no longer be an embarrassment to me and my family.

My recent transfer was spent on additional building materials for the completion of my house, the remaining portion was spent on food.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes. I'm living in a deplorable house for years and it's falling apart. So I have a new goal of building my own house.I have been blessing and thanking GiveDirectly since I got my transfer. I and my children have been sleeping on the floor. Things have been very thought on me me since I lost my husband. Receiving this life changing opportunity from GiveDirectly is a testimony for my generation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly have done nothing wrong. They have done good thing for me by making me to build my house as a widow. My children and I are sleeping on mattress today because of GiveDirectly.

I bought mattress for my children and I to sleep on. I also bought a bag of rice. I'm saving my balance transfer to enable me pay the contractors that are building my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a widow, and I dont have a good place to sleep since my husband die.The house is breaking up on me, I dont have money to build a new one.If Iam successful, I will use the cash transfers to build a decent house and start a raw fish business that will bring in more capital.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is today, being part of the Givedirectly programme. I am suffering and seeing Givedirectly in my community today gives me hope. If I am successful with the cash transfer, i will build a decent house and live a happy life . Thanks to Givedirectly for the good news.
