Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm when my daughter came to inform me that Give Directly has sent the transfer to everyone in our town. Upon telling me this great news, she hurriedly ran back to the town and I alter on allowed her to the town because my farm has no network. Immediately I got in town, I received the transfer on my phone. I felt very fine because I was blessed to be one of Give Directly beneficiaries. Moreover, the transfer is a great help to me.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am getting old and the work I used to do, I can't do them like before. So it affects my output as it relates to making a big farm and earning from it. It also affects me from providing my children's school fees.
When I receive the money, the first thing I will do is to pay my children's tuition. If I have the money to pay their tuition, then I will be able to be saving from the sale of the produce on my farm.
If the money is much, then I will invest in my garden so that it can still be used to contribute to the sustainability of my family, mainly my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has really made me happy was when one of my friends visited me. I was very sick on that day and was wondering on who to get money from or how to get money and go to the hospital or buy tablets. That was how he came and gave me L$500.00 for my medication. This made me happy because I now believed that someone cares for me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of my sons is graduating from the 12th Grade class this year. I really want him to be happy because he will be making me a proud father. Now, my biggest challenge is to get money for his graduation program and the only way I can get money is through doing so many hard work like burning coal and making corn farm at the same time.
