But when I started receiving transfer from givedirectly our life began to change and get better, now my children eat twice a day, and my children are all healthy and in school. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal I have made before receiving this transfer is to start selling used clothes and slippers in this community. I am someone who believe in making petty businesses for living . Due to hardship, I have been planning to credit money from a saving club in our village to pay back with interest . fortunately for me, Givedirectly has offered me freed money. I am very much excited for Givedirectly kind gesture. I believe that when I get involve in to selling businesses, I will be able to generate more profit to pay my children school fees and provide regular meal for the family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Givedirectly is during well is the direct cash support to recipients without accepting any gift in return. Givedirectly transfer has make many recipients to start building new houses in our village while others are using their money to improve their houses from thacth roofs to zinc. Thanks to Givedirectly for helping the poor people in Liberia to improve their lives. I believe that with Givedirectly cash transfer to household, our community will appear decent soon.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to spend my most recent transfer on paying my children balance school fees right after the season break. I dont want to encounter any challenge like before where my children were sent out of classes for tuitions payment. I am also planning to buy more used clothes to sell. I believe that when I invest my time into selling businesses. I will get more money to continue my building project.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goals have been to improve my house and start a business. Before recieving this transfer, I thought of buying a bag of flour for baking purpose and cement to improve my house condition. After recieving the money I have now decided to buy used clothes to sell and cement to improve this house condition.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well by giving the poor people money and this money has no condition attached to it. I think in this way, you are going to see changes in the lives of those poor people. For now, I have not seen any wrong with GiveDirectly workings. All I see now is that GiveDirectly is changing lives.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought with my most recent transfer two bags of used clothes that I am going to start selling and few bags of cement to improve my house condition. I am so happy that I am on this cash transfer program that GiveDirectly has brought to this our community. At least with this money I can now do things that will help me improve my living conditions.
