How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago because I feel so proud for having completed my house which I haven't been able to complete for the past 17 years. In addition, I paid for my children's school fee with a part of the transfers. This enabled them to have ample time for their studies and I'm hoping that in future they will be able to secure well-paying jobs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My spouse do not have any source of income instead she relies on me. At times we face a lot of financial challenges especially when i do not have work to do. because I'm not permanently employed. I'm planning to start up a business for my spouse. This will make her independent and empowered. At the same time, we won't have to borrow whenever I do not have contracts since we'll have an additional income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I started constructing a house in 2002 but due to inadequate finances, I couldn't complete it. It's been a struggle but I never lost hope. I feel so happy because I have been using part of the previous transfers to purchase the materials for completing it. As we speak I have completed most of the rooms and currently, I'm tilling the final bit of the floor. I feel so proud of myself for having achieved this. My family will be staying in a decent house which is not dusty and very secure because it now has all the doors and windows in good condition.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I'm planning to start up a business for my spouse so that se can also be independent. I'm hopeful that in the next six months the business will have picked

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Within the past few months, I have managed to tile the living room of my house which now looks quite presentable and beautiful. Even though I have not yet completed tilling the entire house, I already have a sense of achievement whenever I get compliments on how wonderful my house looks. I have also managed to pay most of my children's school fees and they have not been sent away from school for failure to pay their school fees on time as was mostly the case in the previous months.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been tilling my house for decoration purposes and durability because mare plastering is very costly yet not so durable. So far, I have managed to tile the living room only and still have the bedrooms and the kitchen to complete. My goal is to keep saving most of my transfers so that I can purchase the required materials and tile the entire house before the transfers are over.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I mostly depend on casual jobs and house construction jobs for income which are mostly not available and pay very little. With the assurance of receiving GD transfers, I am usually not so much worried as I would get earlier on when I do not come across any jobs because I am confident that my family will still be able to have decent meals. The money assists in purchasing our daily meals and other important items such as maize for family consumption so that we never go hungry.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have completed the entire school fees required from my children for the entire year and also completed the tilling of the rest of my house within the next six months before the transfers come to an end. This will give me a great sense of accomplishment and enough time to start planning on how to raise next year's school fees for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I was able to save some of these transfers which I then used to buy four sheep to add to my herd. I am pleased to say that GD made this possible because I don't think I would be able to buy them on my own.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to save my next few transfers so that I can be able to purchase the necessary materials to do plaster the inner part of my house. I constructed this house years ago, but little income has always hindered its completion and so far, I have only been able to complete outer part of it which looks good enough, but the inside is the complete opposite.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I mostly depend on house construction jobs which are not quite available in this side of town. This rendered me broke most I of the tiomeespecially when casual jobs are also not available. This always brought a lot of quarrels in my family who mostly look up to me to provide for their needs. With these transfers, there is a big difference as I can always expect something even when the jobs are not available, my wife also receives her own share meaning that she does not have to absolutely depend on me. I now enjoy a lot of peace in my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in six months time, I will have completed plastering the inner part of my house. It is such an embarrassment considering that I do house construction yet my house is in such a sorry state.
