How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that the money enabled me to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary school. This ensured that they are well kept in school, studying and concentrating in the exams. Had it not for money, I would not have bought a cow which is currently providing milk for my family. Sometimes I also sell milk for income. My children are now happy, their health improved and I nolonger face stress which usually comes out of lack of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does good by offering financial support to poor people to help them rise beyond their means in terms of unconditional cash transfers. There is really nothing that GD does wrong!
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the entire transfer in buying a cow which currently offering us milk for both domestic and for commercial use. I also spent the rest on payment of school fees for my child who is in university.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening. This is the time when my children and husband have all arrived home after a long day. Chating with them as everyone narrates how their day has been brings me joy.
