How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because i have oxen for hire to help me get money and i am a happier person.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In opinion, givedirectly has done well uplifting us from extreme poverty because there's alot of positive changes within the community; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy oxen plough, household items like seats, clothes, and the balance, for any emergency.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 980,000 ugx to buy two oxen. I bought an ox-plough worth 200,000 ugx. I also bought household items and clothings for my children. The balance of 150,000 ugx I am keeping for any emergencies.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Honestly I was very happy at that moment. The money was sent in the morning that day and upto now I am still overjoyed because givedirectly saved me. I wish givedirectly would come again and add us more cash transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I wa hustling with life and it was not that easy. I am a bicycle rider and I was really struggling to make ends meet but the money was little. My daily life really changed alot because the cash transfer enabled me to acquire oxen and property that I did not possess before. Give directly has really saved me and my household. I am very grateful.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face is no oxgyen for cultivation so this has forced me to do casual Labour to those people who have oxgyen befor they come to cultivate in my land .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening because that is the time am together with my family during day time I always be out to look for daily meal.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving the money means away of helping my family to buy oxygen, clothes, bedings and the balance for paying school fees.
