How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have lived in my house for so long. My desire at the moment is to change the old tatch to new zinc. However, when I received my previous transfers from GiveDirectly, I started constructing a new house. I also decided to extend my plaintain farm. With my recent transfer, I will complete my house project and moved in with my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own judgement, GD treats everyone equally and fairly. This Organization has been very objective in all they do. I am so grateful to all those involved in making my life better. I don't see anything that GiveDirectly is doing wrongly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my previous transfers, I have started building a very decent house which will be completed soon. Portion of my recent transfer was used to purchase 1 more bundle of zinc for my new house. I also used part of my transfer to buy more seeds and ferterlizer for my farm. Transfers received from GiveDirectly has continue to improve my living condition. I am grateful to God for this great opportunity.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to complete my house project. Because it has been a very long time from my young girl time up to now. I'm not able to build a new house with zinc. I just bought the balance three bundles of zinc and cement. I even pay my big son school fee.because he is in the city with my sister.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Since I overheard about givedirectly in this county. They are very transparent in theirs work as a NGO in Liberia. They are doing great things for we the poor people of Liberia.I about to have descent house in this village with zinc.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Upon receiving this transfer from GiveDirectly I'm planning to finish house project.I'm even thinking of paying my children tuition. Because life hasn't been easy for me and my family.But with the transfer from givedirectly my kids are now in school. I'm even going to pay the gentlemen that is about to build my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
With givedirectly transfer my life has changed greatly. GiveDirectly is one NGO that i really give them credit in theirs job. They are very transparent in theirs work as a NGO in Liberia. Since GiveDirectly come to us as NGO they are not done anything bad to us in Rivercesse.

Huge of my transfer was spent on my house project. Little amount was also spent on the children tuition.i even bought the balance zinc to complete the house project. I just pay the man who is going to saw the plank that is going to be use for roofing.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My greatest desire is to build a house and also pay my three(3) children school fees. I didn't have enough money so I could not achieve my dreams. However, I was very excited when I received my transfer early that faithful morning while I was preparing for farm work. With this transfer, I will build a bigger house and also pay my children tuition. I am so grateful to GD that I am able to build a bigger house in Goezon and I'm also able to pay my children tuition.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I wanted to build a house and at the same time send my three children to school. I could not achieve either of these due to low income. Nonetheless, with GD's transfer, everything has changed. I am able to initiate my house project register my three children in school. Building a house and paying my children tuition has been the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Constructing a modern zinc house and having my children attend school regularly has been my main goal. Meanwhile, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly, I bought 1 bundle of zinc. I also used part of my transfer ($29,700LD) to pay my three of my children tuition for this academic year. The balance money was used to transport my zinc from Buchanan to Goezon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
After my husband engaged me I decided to move to his home town and since 1997 I have been living in this community but due to hardship I'm unable to built a house. When I received this money from GiveDirectly, I will be able to built my own house so that me and my children can have a decent living place. I will also pay my children school fees for this academic year and put the balance money in business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Despite all of the difficulties seeing my children wake up every morning brings great joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Being a mother with with little or no support is a difficult job. Washing my children being put out of school because there is no money to pay their school fees is really painful. Some times I have to wash my children stay with hunger for the whole day because I don't have money to provide food for them. My family have to sleep in my mother small sister house due to lack of sleeping place.
