How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much better because I have acquired livestock with the second cash transfers. I am also pursuing a driving course so that I can secure a driving job. I am now socially respected in the community because I dress decently and act responsible compared to the past where I could dress in old wrinkled clothes and I was idle at home. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well to send people cash transfers that have uplifted them from poverty. GiveDirectly has so far done the best for the community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to purchase livestock and part of it to finance a driving course.
