Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was one bright morning while walking around my yard, I heard people shouting and dancing because they have received money from GiveDirectly. I too decided to checked my phone as well, luckily I saw a message that I have also received 35625LB from GiveDirectly. I was so exicted and ran back home. But the first thing that came to my mind was to keep the money on my phone so that when the next transfer comes I can start my construction project in Zwedru City.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have a plan to build a house for my children in the city for which jave purchased the land already in Zwedru City, Grand Gedeh County. I will start the building project by purchasing 40 bags of cement, two truck load of ri er sand, 30 pieces of steal rod . I am renting where my kids are staying presently in the city for schooling. If my GiveDirectly transfer will.help me finish the house project than they can comfortably move in their house and we will stop renting.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the month of April 2022, my brother and sister traveled to the United States of America. This was my major moment of jot and happiness. Since our generation came to being, we have not had any of our immediate family to be in the United States of America. We believe that their presence their will provide an opportunity for many of our children to travel there too.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Financ is the hardship I am facing presently. I am.not employed Every thing I do for my family comes from the little oil palm plantation that I have. I have been paying rent for the place my children are staying for o er 4 years now because I don't have money to build their own house. GiveDirectly presence on our community will help me fulfill my plan of building a house for my children in the city.
