How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really changed with the coming of givedirectly into our village, I now have enough food for my family and I will now own a house soon.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything that Givedirectly is doing is oky and I am grateful for being in the program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money I received to buy material for building my house these include doors and frames. I saved the remaining money to pay for Labour when building the house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when i received the transfer I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the message.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The big difference is that I am able to eat 3 times a day now,this is something that i wasnt able to do before the transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to build a house so i bought iron sheets,5 bags of cement,and other house building materials,i have also bought 4 bags of maize,and 1 bag of fertiliser.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so excited that i will receive this money and it will help me in so many ways.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm always happy in the afternoon hours because that's when I get to find food and eat and also spend some time with my daughter.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
So far the biggest hardship is how to find money because the small business that i do doesn't work out always so sometimes i struggle to find food since my husband left me.
