What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my second transfer worth 350,000ugx on treating my self. I stocked 12 bags of ground nuts with the intension of selling when the prices rise then i will use the money for completing the construction of my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to enroll us free of charge and delivering the money directly to us. Workers of Give Directly have good hearts because they did not ask for any bribes.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that the money i got enabled me get better treatment unlike before when i used to be very sickly. I also feed well in my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent a portion of the first transfer on seeking for medical attention for myself since I was very sick by then and the treatment required alot of money. So I spent about 700,000 UGX on treatment then the balance I what I am spending on purchasing my daily family needs like food and clothings.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy that day and I got relieved that this money was now going to enable me clear all my medical bills and even go for further medical check up. I am really grateful and thankful to Givedirectly for giving me this assistance.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My health is now improving and getting better ever since I received that money, I can now treat myself and pay for the accumulating medical bills.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship am facing is lack of money to pay for my medical bills. I was tested for hepatitis B which has left my stomach swollen. My frequent visits to the hospital has affected my business since most times whenever my patients visit me for treatment they get my clinic closed.I have also spent alot from my bussiness profits to facilitate my transport to and fro to the hospital
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning.This is the time when I recieve most patients in my clinic.This is my favourite time because I get money from my patients after providing treatment to them.This profits helps me buy books for my children.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying iron sheets to roof our house. Our house has taken over three years without being roofed.This money means therefore an opportunity for us to roof our house so that we can comfortably start using it with our children.
