What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying timber, doors and bricks to partially complete my house. I also paid up the labor that helped to build my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion what give directly has done well is that, through these cash transfers, it has caused change in the community in terms of people's life stlye because people are living a fair life than before. What givedirectly has not done well is stopping to give people money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I had not recieved the transfer because I now have a big permant house that i had never been able to build if I had not got the transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer buying materials like bricks, iron sheets, timber and labor for building my house. I also used the balance to buy bedsheets of 15,000 ugx
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very happy and calm because I did not want to alert possible thieves.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, At least I have money to run a few daily expenses and a peace of mind than when I did not have money then.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship am facing is lack of land to cultivate crops to feed my household. My household mostly depends on hired land and this is very costly hiring gardens every season.This year my household has not been fully involved in crop growing because I had no money to hire gardens
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is the time when am staying together with my wife and children.Seeing them enjoing food and being satisfied makes me happy
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means building a commercial house in my plot of land.This house will be a source of income for my household in future when I get tenants to rent.
