What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer buying land at 1,000,000 ugx and planning to use the balance to open up my business of buying and selling produce
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has helped out most people in the community to solve most of their financial issues and developing the area as most people have built permanent houses and sent most children back to school. It has also brought in peace, safty and harmony in the community.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never received the transfer, I would neither be in position to own my personal land nor plan set up my own business because I didn't even have money to do all that.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
With my first transfer, I paid a debt of 1,300,000 ugx that I had borrowed from my mother for purchasing an acre of land and the balance of 400,000 ugx, I bought other household items including utensils
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received a message at around 11:00 pm and I was over joyed. I went to inform my mother that I had got a message that money had entered my account and had a sleepless night.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am proude because I used to eat once a day and now I can have abalanced Diet and two to three meals a day. On top of that, my self esteem is high because I can now socialize with other people freely.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is when ifailed to continue with my education because my parents couldnot afford school fees after my senior six so I ended up staying home
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is evening time after sharing ameal with my wife and we start discussing the next day's plans
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It's great oppunity to my household because receiving this money will help me in treatment ,education and feeding of my family members
