What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to food stuff in preparation for the dry season and the balance saved for paying school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly does well giving people money to help themselves with their most urgent needs, and there's nothing it hasn't done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received the transfer because i can now afford to buy household items, sleep in a better house, and pay medical bills for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying 2 trips of sand and 7 bags of cement that i used for plastering my house. I also bought food, school requirements and paid school fees for my children. Am using 300,000UGX as capital in produce business. I still have the balance of 400,000UGX and am still planing for it.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was 11:00pm when i received the money, At that time i knelt down and prayed and after praying i joined the village in ululation. I did not sleep again all i did with my wife was to budget for the money till morning.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that my home is now beautiful, my children are happy because am able to buy for them all they need. I can handle life challenges and there is no more stress.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to complete my house and buy household items for it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I have waken up healthy and being able to go and complete my day's task.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It means no stress but great happiness to my household since it will help improve on my households income.
