What did you spend your third transfer on?
I am using my third transfer to construct a house for my family and also rentals from which I will earn monthly income. I have been living in my sister's house ever since my husband died.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My children and i would have died because of famine because i had exhausted all possible sources of income at that time and had no one else to turn to being a single mother however we are currently alive and happy because with the transfers we got what to eat and accessed other necessities.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does everything the right way especially giving us financial support.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying bricks for constructing a house for my family and also rentals to enable to earn some income. This is because the house I am currently staying in belongs to my sister and she may claim it back at any time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Being able to live a peaceful life without having to hustle a lot to afford the basic needs is the biggest difference in my life. This is because i started up a business which provides me with a daily income that is enough to sustain our lives.

I spent my first transfer on buying bricks as i prepare to build myself and children a house because my brother has been housing us for all these years.

The moment I recieved my money i felt so happy and i even failed to eat food because of the excitement.

My first plan on the cash transfer,i intend to spend it on constructing a house for my family, and also establish a grocery shop as a business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I do have a free range poultry system that a benefit eggs and chicken that i sell to buy for my children books and pens.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have ever faced is the issue of school fees for my children to study since their father died.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is always afternoon hours when am done with the days garden work and having had a meal with my children.
