How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i have enough energy to work in my farm and am hopeful that this year i will have enough yields. before receiving my transfers i did not have food at home, with any empty stomach it was very difficult to work. since i received my transfer i bought enough food to eat at home so that i can have energy to work in my farms and i also bought fertilizer which i have applied in my maize fields.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
i feel like give directly does the recipient identification very well and i can not identify something that is not done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my second transfer the first thing i bought was additional iron sheets as i had already bought some iron sheets with my first transfer. the remaining amount was used to buy food and other basic needs.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
This was my day, my heart pumped faster, I was happy and scared at the same time. Deep down I was very happy but could not show it on the outta part. Next day I went to withdraw and shopping, I was all happy whole week.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is food security on my household. It has been rough here for the past months, we could not eat 3 times a day because we did not have food and money. Now it is not the same story, on top of access of food, the whole household has improved much.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought iron sheets, matress, beddings and 2bags of maize
