How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
my life is different now because i can afford to build a decent house now. this has helped me achieve my dream of having a good house with my family and reduce the risk of being bitten by snakes in the forest every time i went to look for grass and other materials for renovating the house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
i feel like all the activities that give directly does are done very well and i cant identify any activity that is not done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my second transfer i bought iron sheets, bricks, and other materials for building my house because my house is in a very bad state. the other amount was used to pay school fees for my children. the remaining amount was used to buy mattress, fertilizer, food and other basic needs.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt great, I smiled the whole day knowing I have money and my household will not be the same. Best feeling ever knowing you can afford your children on everything they need and this GD money gave me that feeling and confidence.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Big difference is my children were not regulars at school before GD. This was because of poverty and I could not afford school uniforms. Now my children has two uniforms each, they eat before school and am sure this will brighten their future now because there is no excused to skip school
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 26 iron sheets, matress, 5bags of maize and school uniform for my children
