Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy because I was going to clear off debt and repossess my farm and also acquire an ox
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed because through this cash transfer, I managed to clear a debt and repossessd my farm land. Previously, I hired farm land and had sleepless night because I think of where to get money to settle the debt. In addition, I have also bought an ox which I plan to use for ploughing after I have acquired another with second tranafer
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought an ox and two goats worth UGX 900,000, paid off debt worth UGX 450,000 and bought household goods ( a pair of bedsheets, a mattress, utensils and a blanket) worth UGX 300,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means owning oxen and an ox plough. This will be a source of my livelihood because I will plough and cultivate in time. This will improv on yields which increase household income forms better living.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children have come back from school. I remain a lonr at home most of the time but once my children have come back from school that make me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face on my life is inadequate income. I do not have a reliable source of income which makes my household vulnerable. I can not even hire oxen in order to plough and for crop cultivation and besides, I do not own enough land which forces my household to hire. All these requires money which I have to get through casual labour.
