Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal is to start poultry farming. I am now used to getting money and I don't want to get stranded after GiveDirectly have finished their project in this village. I have plans for keeping them since I will close school for about one month. This is enough to start something and run a poultry business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer bother my parents to provide me with pocket money. The transfers I get from GiveDirectly is enough to push me through while in school. I normally use the money to pay rent and to buy food for while in school. I don't have to stress my mother anymore. I feel good for relieving her off some of the burdens. I let her focus on providing for my younger siblings who are in secondary and primary school.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect that my life will have greatly improved. My parent's life will be stress-free because I will not be asking a lot from her. I will be going on well with my education and will not have the shame of having to ask for everything from her. I also believe that my poultry project will have picked up and added income to the family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have managed to support my parent to pay for my school fees. It used to pain me to see them stay hungry just to send me daily expenses, let alone the back-breaking casual jobs they had to do to pay my fee. I have also managed to plant maize. I used to buy maize seed and planted them. It is doing well and this will help me other to reduce household expenditure as we won't have to buy maize flour like we usually do. My family will now be able to pay my school fees well and meet our daily needs.
