How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In comparing my current life and the past four months, I find a lot of difference. My current life is way too better in terms of resource availability which ranges from foodstuff to monetary resource. I was once living a hard life where every coin I had in my pocket was budgeted for with no extras. I thank God that at the moment I am enjoying a smooth plan with enough money which is all generated from the different project I revived after receiving the transfers. Among the differences which have been registered is the presence of a milk-producing cow. This is our pride since it's serving both the payment of school fees and also household goods.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
After purchasing a cow I now have an additional goal to venture into agriculture. Although I don't have a larger piece of land, I have a plan to lease a piece in addition so that I can add to the small piece that I already have. I am intending to do the farm operation where I will be planting beans. I also have a plan to plant maize though on a smaller scale since maize production in our area is no longer doing well. I am hoping that all these will come to pass in the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Many things have really changed since I started receiving the transfer from GiveDirectly. All farm operations are now working well and the biggest difference of all is the presence of a cow which I bought with the accumulated cash from the Merry-go-round. Initially, I had one cow which had been producing milk although I needed another one since the milk we were producing were not enough both for domestic use and to at least spare some for sale. I now feel that the intent has been met and now I am looking forward to paying school fees for my two kids in secondary school and two in primary school at ease.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
After starting a savings plan, I am foreseeing a future where I will be farming on leased land. I need to venture into both subsistence and commercial farming where I will be planting beans. I hope to see it running in the next six months.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was since I have been able to clear outstanding school fees balance for my child. My child is very hardworking and I did not want to fail her in any way. The arrears gave me sleepless nights but now I am peaceful because I have cleared it and I also have means of paying the rest of the fee on time. Through the transfers, I was also able to buy a dairy cow. I now spend a lot buying milk on a daily basis but I am optimistic that this will come to an end soon when the cow calves.

In the next four months, I am planning to save part of Give Directly monthly transfers to use it on leasing a land for maize farming. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I managed to clear fee arrears for my child in secondary school. I had been having pending arrears and I had to talk with the teachers and tell them of my plan of paying the fees so has to keep her in school. With the monthly transfers from Give Directly, I was able to join a Merry Go Round with my village mates. When my turn came, I used it to clear the fee. This has given me a piece of mind. Thanks to GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
