How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
GiveDirectly's transfers has brought a huge change in my life since I have started small on tea plantation project . Initiating , I would admire such projects but it required relative large amount of capital and what I was left with was to admire my neighbor's farm who were well of . I am hoping that late next year the tea ought to have matured . There shall be a realization of high profits from the sales and these amount of money shall be helpful in the future in meeting most of my family's expenses like payment of school fee for my children .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion , GiveDirectly did awesomely well through addressing our concerns by educating/ advising the beneficiaries who were worried how they would handle this lumpsum amount of money since it was there first time to have an opportunity of interacting with such an amount . I do not see where GiveDirectly failed on its work.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to put up a tea plantation . I have been able to practice improved farming practices in a large acre of land using GiveDirectly's transfers ,therefore, I am hopeful after one year for consequent improved crop production in my farm. The remaining amount I completed the finishes of the granary that I had built with the first transfer .
