Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and joyful when I received my transfer. I was very happy because I knew that I would be able to solve some of my problems I face in my life and that I would be able to buy things for me and my family. For example buying a mattress and making a bed so that I do not sleep on the floor anymore.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that now I am sleeping on a bed and mattress , I don't have to wake up with body pains or muscle pains from sleeping on the floor. My education is now easier as I am able to use the internet easier on my smart phone which I have bought using the GD money. I can now find information faster and easily . Lastly the torches I have bought has change my families lives as we dont have to use candles to light our house anymore.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my first money transfer from GD on many different things . I firstly got a bed made and bought a mattress because I had no bed,my wife and I used to sleep on a mat on the floor. I also used the money to buy a smart phone which is very helpful as I am now able to use the internet to search for different things involving my school work. I was also used the money to buy some torches for my home this way we stop using candles which can be dangerous .Lastly I have used the money to start buying bricks so that I can build a house this way I have my own house in my name.
