How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now in a way that farming will be simple from next farming season because I have access to inputs which will increase my production. I also have afforded to buy my children clothes and school uniforms, provide good shelter and built a house with iron sheets. All this could not be possible if it was not for Give Directly and we are thankful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well in helping poor people by giving them cash. This money is very important in a way that it is improving the socioeconomic status of many households. There is an increase in accessibility of basic needs in poor communities and all this is because of Give Directly interventions.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the second transfer on 24 iron sheets, 5 bags of maize and I saved some money for 2 bags of fertilizer for the next farming season.
